Welcome to Baabun Nasr!
We are a volunteer driven, faith-based, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, providing basic necessities and social services to those in need. We are Philadelphia’s go to Community Resource Center, offering free food, clothing, Islamic attire, household supplies, medical supplies, baby supplies, furniture and more to anyone in need who comes through our door.
We are located in the heart of Philadelphia (North Philly to be exact), surrounded by shelters, recovery centers, senior citizen homes and low-income housings – placed exactly where we are needed the most.
We are more than just a food pantry and a thrift store, Baabun Nasr offers a warm, caring and welcoming family atmosphere where everyone is treated with respect and receives services with sincerity, humility, dignity and courtesy.
Baabun Nasr is a simple Arabic phrase that means “A Door to Help,” each and every day of operation, we strive hard to live up to our name by opening our doors and assisting those in need of our help.
