Baabun Nasr is volunteer-driven!
Our board of directors and staff are all volunteers who do not receive any monetary compensation for their time and hard work. In addition to them, we receive several people who visits us weekly and donate their time to help. You don’t have to go through an extensive application process to volunteer at Baabun Nasr simply apply online! Individuals can just show up and pitch in where they fit in! Groups of 5 or more people must pre-register by emailing us. If you need to fulfill community service hours then please contact us at 267-632-5460 to apply and coordinate your hours.
General Volunteers
We need help with sorting clothes, stocking shelves, organizing our food pantry, distributing food, cleaning the center, garden work, passing out flyers, setting up and breaking down at our events, researching resources and more. If you can be of any assistance please apply today!
Professional Volunteers
We also welcome assistance from people with professional skills such as:
- Fund Raising
- Internet expertise
- Grant writing
- Carpenter
- Plumber
- Electrician
- CPA expertise
- Legal services
